Ropar Head Works Park is the prime attraction for the people living around and away. The head works was first built by English invaders when they occupied the land and used it to divert and distribute the water to develop agriculture in the area for their benefits. They made it in a way as a tourist attraction. The 850m bridge on Sutlej river was also built. The bridge servers to support water gates to barricade the water flowing in the river to facilitate diverting. Small gauge rail track was also put on the bridge (which is not operational now) to transport goods and construction material through railway alongside the road transportation.
