This is a very divine and quiet place to visit. It is a Shiv temple in village Nalas of city Rajpura district Patiala, Punjab. This temple has a very old history of 550 years ago regarding the cow Kapila that used to pour all her milk in some shrubs when the cowherd used to take it for pasturing in fields. Later when he got to know about the place where cow poured all its milk he started to dig and found the Shivling, Shivling also had some blood stains as believed that at that time saint Karmagiri ji was in some sort of meditation and got hurt. This incident was then narrated to King of Patiala and he then built this temple and this temple gained its status. During the time of Shivratri it welcomes many devotes from different parts of India and temple also organises a mela (fair) and temple remains crowded but yes otherwise on normal days it is very peaceful and quiet place to visit. It is also believed that lord shiv fulfill all the demands and desire of his devotes who worship him wholeheartedly. I would like to end by very famous saying in context of Nalas:
या शिव नलास में या शिव केलाश में Either Shiva is in Nalas or in Kelash
Tried to provide the most accurate information but this may not be completely true as per various...

There were lots of devotees of lord Shiva along with various prashad items like milk, fruits, flowers, dhatura and bel patra etc. This place was crowded and it was difficult to enter main compartment of temple as queue was long enough to check your patience level. There was jhulas and various thela of juice, toys, bhel Poori, popcorns. They were offering bhang milk, pakodas and poori. There was no parking space for cars so we parked our car in a nearby wheat crop field alongside the road. There is Nabha power plant nearby this village. It was my first experience in a punjabi pind. I drank bhang milk but it was not like that I heard before. Overall it was a short trip with fresh air that refreshed my mind and...
