Ladies, gentlemen, and thrill-seekers of all ages, allow me to introduce you to the "Disneyland of Disappointment" – Thunder Zone. A name that suggests excitement, adrenaline, and the sound of fun crashing down from the skies… but in reality, the only thing thundering here is your regret echoing through the empty, mildew-stained changing rooms.
First things first – the ticket price. ₹1250. For context, that's enough to feed a family of four at a decent dhaba with lassi. Here, it buys you the privilege of wandering through a dystopian theme park where the water is murkier than your cousin’s crypto portfolio and the rides are older than your grandma’s cassette player.
Speaking of rides – a grand total of 3.5, because I refuse to count that one slide that looks like it was held together by leftover duct tape and misplaced confidence. The white slide, specifically, is an adventure not for the faint of heart. One wrong twist and you'll be introduced to the in-house medical facilities – also known as “that guy with Dettol and a stare of eternal exhaustion.”
The wave pool is the star attraction, and honestly, it delivers – if your dream is to be repeatedly slapped by lukewarm water while a whistle-happy lifeguard yells like you're in a military bootcamp. Refreshing.
Now, let's talk cleanliness. Imagine a changing room that smells like damp socks and generational trauma. The washrooms are a fascinating exhibit on how fast a toilet can become a health hazard. And the “baggage store”? It's less of a locker room and more of a post-apocalyptic sandbox. If you’re lucky, you’ll only leave with sand in your shoes and not a mysterious fungal souvenir.
Hungry? Great! Because the food here is so bad, it could be used as a plot device in a horror movie. Ever wondered what sadness tastes like? Try the samosas.
Service? Non-existent. You could scream, cry, and do the Macarena and still no staff member would make eye contact. It's like everyone who works here took an oath of invisibility.
In conclusion, Thunder Zone is not a water park – it’s a philosophical experience. A place where joy evaporates faster than the water in their cracked wave pool. If you’re from Chandigarh, Mohali, or Zirakpur, do yourself a favor – drive to Himachal, build your own slide out of snow, and that will still be more hygienic and thrilling.

They charges 1150/- for combo on Saturday for Amusement park as weel as Water park(Otherwise normal charges are 1000/- for Water park and 700/- for Amusement park seperately). There are 9-10 rides in Amusement park and 2 Slides in kids water pool and 4 slides in adult water pool. The rides are safe for kids. The water pool are maximum utpo 3 ft in both. The wave pool was working and people were enjoying a lot there. There is a food outlet in water prk and 1 restaurant in Amusement park. They charge 200-/ per plate for lunch if you but it from the restaurant and 150/- if you buy the lunch/thali coupon from front gate while buying the tickets. Tea and coffee is served in Amusement park only and not in water park food outlet. The Resturant staff is very polite, humble and cooperative. The staff of the water park and amusement park is cooperative and helpful. There is a lot of free parking palce. They also have a banquet hall names "Tricity Pride Banquet hall" For functions and parties. They have very big lawns inside the property. They have maintained the greenery, the lawns and park very well. Now I would like to give a few suggestions to the management, if they really welcome the feedbacks: Kindy provide neat and clean and hygienic washrooms. All washrooms must be taken care of if they are charging this much for the facilities. The water must be replaced frequently especially the water in wave pool, which gets hot by the afternoon which means the same is not replaced. Ladies changing Place in water park must be properly ventilated, as it is totally covered by curtains for privacy. They can further add the new rides as available in other Such Parks in Tri-city and elsewhere. We all enjoyed a lot and would recommend it to my friends and family as well for sure. Kindy take my...
