I've visited Chothavilai Beach multiple times, and each experience has been absolutely wonderful. This beach consistently impresses with its pristine white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, creating a postcard-perfect setting. It's my go-to spot for a relaxing and enjoyable day by the sea. My family and I love spending long hours here, wandering along the shoreline, collecting seashells, and playing catch or Frisbee on some days. We particularly enjoy the tranquil atmosphere away from the main beach, which tends to get crowded in the evenings. The beach offers ample space for outdoor activities, making it perfect for a day out with loved ones. Whether you're seeking serenity or some fun in the sun, this beach has it all. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature.

Serene beach , less crowded compared to other beaches in Kanyakumari district. The way towards the beach looks a little isolated. But thesea is not safe to play on the sea. The waves are very unpredictable and the sea in this area has an undercurrent which is fatal. So be cautious and stay away from the waves. Enjoy the breeze the water and sunrise sunset safely away from the sea. Local govt needs to keep more waste collection boxes so that people can drop it there or advise the sellers to bring there own waste boxes to collect and dispose it safely. One among the many beaches that is available in Kanyakumari district.Enjoy from distance and it's worth it.

The beach can be accessed either from Kanyakumari (8 kms via Kovalam beach and Manakudi Estuary or Nagercoil via Mela Krishnan Puthoor Village and Pallam-Sanguthurai Beach). Sothavilai Beach, lying on the West Coast in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu has a long sandy beach extending over a km which is an attraction for beach walkers. it is one of the cleanest beaches in the district as it is a little away from human habitation and not very much frequented by tourists and hence a haven for children to play.

Nestled away from the bustling tourist crowds of Kanyakumari, Chothavilai Beach is a pristine and lesser-known gem that stole my heart. The experience here was nothing short of mesmerizing, and I can't recommend it enough.

Chothavilai Beach boasts a unique charm that's hard to find elsewhere. The golden sands stretch as far as the eye can see, and the serene waters of the Arabian Sea lap gently at the shore. It's the perfect escape from the busy city, offering tranquility and solitude.

What sets this beach apart is its tranquility. There are no hordes of tourists, no loud noises, just the soothing sound of the waves and the warm sun on your skin. It's the ideal spot to relax, read a book, or take a leisurely stroll along the shore.

The beach is remarkably clean and well-maintained. The local authorities have done a great job in preserving its natural beauty. It's a fantastic place for nature lovers, birdwatchers, and photographers, as you can spot a variety of avian species along the shore.

The breathtaking sunset at Chothavilai Beach is an experience you won't want to miss. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky comes alive with vibrant hues, creating a magical backdrop that's perfect for photography.

While there are a few shacks and stalls serving fresh seafood and local delicacies, this beach retains its unspoiled nature. It's advisable to carry some refreshments if you plan to spend the day here.

Access to Chothavilai Beach is relatively easy, and it's just a short drive from Kanyakumari. The lack of crowds and the peaceful ambiance make it an ideal spot for a day trip or a quiet weekend getaway.

In summary, Chothavilai Beach is a hidden treasure in Kanyakumari that offers tranquility, natural beauty, and an opportunity to connect with the serene side of nature. If you're seeking a peaceful escape from the touristy hustle and bustle of Kanyakumari, this beach should be at the top of your list. Don't miss this pristine paradise on your visit to...

Sotha Vilai Beach is one of the most famous beaches that can be found in the entire district of Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. This beach is an offbeat attraction, which means that many people do not know about it, but the beach does deserve more attention than what it gets. The glorious beach stretches for over 4 kilometres, which makes it one of the longest natural beaches in the entire state, and the views that this attraction offers cannot be put into words. The glistening white sand with high dunes and the clear, pure water extending indefinitely to meet the horizon miles and miles away is indeed a sight to behold.

Since the Sothavilai Beach has quite shallow waters, it is an ideal place for swimming and enjoying a water bath. You can also find a few resting cottages at the beach, and a view tower at the beach which is visited by a large number of tourists each day to enjoy the magnificent panoramic views. Unfortunately, the beach was damaged severely by the massive tsunami that hit the nation back in 2004. The concerned authorities, however, with their constant efforts, refurbished and reconstructed the beach; and this famous tourist destination has been attracting...
