I visited Anjani Mata Temple near Salasar recently, and it felt deeply special. The life-size idol of Mata Anjani, holding a conch and Suhaag‑Kalash with young Hanuman in her lap, is truly awe‑inspiring. There’s something magical about how this place is woven into people’s lives—many couples even leave their first wedding invitation here, seeking blessings for joy and prosperity in married life. It’s said that your darshan of Salasar Balaji feels incomplete unless you’ve touched this sacred ground of his mother, Mata Anjani. That sense of spiritual wholeness is hard to put into words. “The temple is peaceful, lovingly maintained, and waiting to embrace every sincere prayer—especially those of married women and newlyweds.” Why It Feels So Special This isn’t just another temple—it’s a beloved part of the spiritual journey in Salasar. The iconic image of Mother Anjani cradling her son Hanuman creates a powerful, emotional connection for devotees. Over the years, people have turned here for blessings before big life moments like marriage, and the custom of submitting the first wedding invite symbolizes trust, hope, and divine grace. Visiting Mata Anjani before Salasar Balaji feels like making your visit whole

The temple is around 2km from Shree Balaji temple near Hanuman Murti in Juliasar area of Salasar. Anjani Mata is the mother of Hanumanji. This temple belongs to Anjani Mata. Hanuman ji as a child is sitting in on his mother's lap in Anjani Mata idol installed in the temple. The idol of Anjani Mata is very large and is wearing a conch shell and a suhaag-kalash. It is a small temple complex having some Prasad shops outside the main temple. One belief is that people should visit this temple before going to Shree Balaji temple. Other popular belief is people from far and wide submit the first invitation letter of marriage in the family to the temple.
