Nestled amidst rolling hills, the lake is far less crowded than Udaipur’s more famous lakes, making it an ideal spot for those seeking some quiet reflection in nature.

The expansive water body, surrounded by lush greenery and scenic hills, creates a picturesque landscape. The sight of the sun reflecting off the water, especially during sunset, is truly magical. The surrounding area is perfect for a peaceful stroll, a picnic, or even some quiet meditation by the water’s edge. The clean and well-maintained walking paths further enhance the overall experience, making it an excellent place to unwind.

I also learned that Badi Talab was originally constructed by Maharana Raj Singh in the 17th century to supply water to the city. Its historical significance, combined with the beauty of the surrounding environment, makes it a lovely blend of nature and culture.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Badi Lake during my trip to Udaipur and it was an absolutely stunning experience. The lake is surrounded by picturesque hills and the water itself is crystal clear, making for some truly breathtaking views. Boating on the lake was a highlight of my visit.
