Gumano Mata Mandir — Attraction in Rajasthan

Gumano Mata Temple is situated in the valley of Karanpur, Karauli (Rajasthan). Temples shares the same premises with Karanpur Temple. This is one of the oldest temples in the district. Most of devotees come here because they worship Gumano mata as their kuldevi. On every special event like after marriage & baby birth devotees come here and complete the rituals called Jaat.

Why devi named is maa gumano? In folk tales, old villagers & elders belief that devi has dual nature, one side she gives blessings and nourish the people, another side devi is the sign of anger, if she gets angry all things get upside down and things will get normal when worshiper come here & worship maa gumano with all his will and devotion.
