Maa Latiyal Temple — Attraction in Rajasthan

It is a historic temple in the small town of Phalodi in Jodhpur District. It is located on a narrow road with very limited space for your car. It is better to park your car around the old Phalodi Fort and either walk or take an auto rickshaw to the temple. It has ample space to walk around or sit down to meditate. The main temple is on the first floor and the interior has artistic glass and mirror work. It has a old tree and yagyasala in the ground floor. Reaching this temple is a bit tough cz the ways are really confusing even when we follow google maps. Else there is something magical in that temple. 550 से जल रही है अखंड ज्योत जोधपुर जिले में स्थित लटियाल माता का मन्दिर ऐतिहासिक है। इस मन्दिर की स्थापना फलौदी शहर के साथ ही करीब 550 साल पहले हुई थी। तभी से इस मन्दिर में अखंड ज्योत भी जल रही है। मान्यता है कि इस ज्योत के धुएं से बने काजल का इस्तेमाल करने से कष्ट दूर होते है। माता शहरवासियों को प्राकृतिक आपदा से महफूज रखती है। इस मन्दिर की स्थापना के बारे में कहा जाता है कि विक्रम संवत् 1515 में आसाणी कोट से आए सिद्धूजी कल्ला मां लटियाल के अनन्य भक्त थे। उनके साथ फलोदी लाया गया देवी लटियाल की पूजा-विग्रह का गाड़ा यहां एक खेजड़ी के पेड़ से टकराकर अटक गया। इस टक्कर से पेड़ दो हिस्सों में बंट गया। यह पेड़ आज भी यहां मौजूद है। इस पुराने खेजड़ी के पेड़ को लेकर मान्यता है कि इसकी छाल नाखून से उतार अपने घर पर रखने से घर में सुख, शांति, समृद्धि बनी रहती है। इस आस्था के चलते भक्त यहां से छाल भी लेकर जाते है। नवरात्रों में यहां मेला आयोजित होता है। जिसमें फलौदी के साथ-साथ अन्य स्थानों से भी माता के भक्त...
