ऐतिहासिक पृष्ठभूमि

श्री नागणेच्या माता का मंदिर राव धूहड़जी, तत्कालीन खेड़ प्रदेष के शासक ने सन् 1305 ई. में स्थापित किया था। राव धूहड़जी ने नागणेच्या खांप राठौड़ों को कुल देवी की पूजा-अर्चना करने का आदेष व अधिकार दिया था। उन्होंने अपनी कुल देवी के नाम जमीन दी थी जिससे मंदिर का रख-रखाव व विस्तार हो सके। कालान्तर में राठौड़ो ने मारवाड़ राज्य की स्थापना की तथा निरन्तर राज्य की ओर से पूजा दस्तूर भेंट किया जाता रहा है। यह राठौड़ वंष की कुल देवी है तथा राजपूत जाति के साथ कई जातियाँ जैसे ओसवाल, राजपुरोहित, घांची, प्रजापती, सुनार, मेघवाल, कलावंत आदि की कई उपजातियां इन्हें कुल देवी के रूप में मानती है। इस धाम में सभी जाति के लोगों की आस्था है अतः यह मंदिर मारवाड़ का एक प्रसिद्ध तीर्थ स्थान है। नागणेचीजी सत युग में मंचा देवी, त्रैता युग में राठेष्वरी, द्वापर में पंखीणीदेवी, और कलयुग में नागणेचिया देवी के नाम से जानी जाती रही है। इन्हे चक्रेष्वरी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। नागाणा गांव में नीम के पेड़ के नीचे स्थापित करने के पष्चात् नागणेचीयाजी नाम प्रसिद्ध हुआ। कुलदेवी की पूजा-परम्परा हमारे धर्म के अन्तर्गत प्राचीनकाल से चली आ रही है। हिन्दू समाज में कोई भी वंष (कुल) ऐसा नहीं होता, जिसमें कुलदेवी की नियमित पूजा न की जाती हो।

श्री नागाणा ट्रस्ट मारवाड़ के राठौड़ वंश की कुलदेवी श्री नागणेच्या माताजी के प्राचीन मन्दिर के जीर्णोद्धार, सुरक्षा, संरक्षण एवं विधि-विधान से श्री नागणेच्या माताजी की पूजा-अर्चना के निमित्त कार्य करता है।

श्री नागणेच्या माताजी का यह पाट स्थान होने से यहाँ पर लाखों भक्त दर्शन हेतु आते हैं। वर्ष में चैत्री व आसोजी नवरात्रा उत्सव एवं प्रति दिवस श्री माताजी की आरती तथा पूजा परम्परा से निर्बाध रूप से होती रही है, जिसका कुशल प्रबंधन करना ट्रस्ट का प्रमुख उद्देश्य है।

ट्रस्ट का गठन

दिनांक 25.3.2007 को राव धूहड़ जयन्ती एवं नागणेच्या माता पाटोत्सव के अवसर पर महाराजा गजसिंहजी जोधपुर की अध्यक्षता में एक विषाल जनसभा का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें तत्कालीन महामहिम उप-राष्ट्रपति श्री भैरोंसिंह जी मुख्य अतिथि थे। कार्यक्रम मारवाड़ के गणमान्य साधु-सन्तों के सानिध्य में सम्पन्न हुआ।

इस सभा में मंदिर की समस्याओं पर विचार-विमर्ष हुआ तथा सर्वसम्मति से निर्णय लिया गया कि इस ऐतिहासिक तीर्थ स्थान के सुचारू रूप से संचालन व मन्दिर के जीर्णोद्धार हेतु एक ट्रस्ट का गठन किया जाए।

इस जनादेष के क्रियान्वयन में दिनांक 5.05.2007 को मां नागणेच्या माता ट्रस्ट, नागाणा का विधिवत गठन हुआ, जिसका पंजीयन दिनांक 24.09.2007 को देवस्थान विभाग, राजस्थान सरकार में हुआ जिसकी पंजीयन संख्या 02/2007/बाड़मेर है।

प्रबन्धन समिति

ट्रस्ट मंडल ने दिनांक 28.05.2016 को मन्दिर के प्रबंधन हेतु ट्रस्ट के विधानानुसार 51 सदस्यों की प्रबंधन समिति का तीन वर्ष के कार्यकाल के लिए पुर्नगठन किया है जो समय-समय पर अपना सहयोग प्रदान करते रहते है। मंदिर के दैनिक प्रबन्ध हेतु कार्यकुषल व अनुभवी वरिष्ठ प्रबन्धक व अन्य कर्मचारी नियुक्त किये गये हैं।
