This is one of the biggest temple of Devi Chauth Mata and only one of its kind in India. I visited many times here, every time I feel the grace of Chauth mata. It is almost 700 years old. Around 600 stair to climb. Karva Chauth, Bhadrapad Chauth, Magha Chauth, and Lakkhi fair are the times when millions of devotees vists here. Many people come here on foot to get Devi's blessings. I also did Pedal yatra both ways (by foot) to Devi tample one time from my village. Vicky Kaushal and Katrina kaif marriage happened in Barwada Palace which juts 1km or less from the main temple.

First thing, chauth Mata ki jai !! I am writing this review when it does not have festival that mean normal days. In normal days it is not crowded , shops are there to buys Prasad and toys for children. By day by day it is getting better. When I started to visit ( since my childhood) this temple's path was scary as it had torn steps. But now it is developing as better temple . Cleanliness is good. I don't know how it looks at the time of festival . Facilities are there but could have been more and better that's why it is 4 stars. With view of nature , I love this temple.

सूरजन हाड़ा व चौथ माता :- चौथ माता प्राचीन काल से प्रसिद्ध व चमत्कारिक प्रतिमा रही है, बूँदी नरेश सूरजन हाडा को एक बार सम्पूर्ण शरीर में फाफूले नामक बीमारी हो गई थी, बहुत समय तक इस बीमारी से निजात नहीं मिली तो आखिर में उसकी पत्नी ने चौथ माता जी की आखा को लाल कपड़े में बाँधकर राजा कि कलाई में बाँधने मात्र से फायदा पड़ गया, उस समय सुरजन हाड़ा रणथम्भौर साम्राज्य का राजा था, इस बीमारी के मिटने के बाद सुरजन हाडा ने चौथ माता देवी को अपनी आराध्य देवी मान लिया, सूरजन हाडा ने बरवाड़ा स्थित चौथ माता का हाडौती क्षेत्र में मे खूब प्रचार करवाया !, यही कारण है कि आज भी चौथ का बरवाड़ा स्थित चौथ माता मंदिर के दर्शनों हेतु लाखों की तादाद में हाड़ौती से दर्शनार्थी आते है और चौथ माता हाडौती की लोकदेवी के रूप में प्रसिद्ध हो गई, यही कारण है कि चौथ माता हाडौती क्षेत्र में घर घर में मे पूजी जाती है ! चौथ माता संबंधी विविध तथ्य :- • सवाई मानसिंह द्वितीय को द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध में चौथ माता के सुमरन मात्र से ही सुध बुध बैठी थी, इन्हीं के चमत्कार की वजह से द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध से मानसिंह निकल कर आएं थे, जब सवाई मानसिंह द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध से आए तो इन्होंने सन् 1944 में चौथ माता सरोवर के पास विशाल शिव लिंग की स्थापना करवाई थी ! • 1759-60 ईस्वी के लगभग जयपुर के महाराजा सवाई माधोसिंह ने चौथ भवानी के विवादित प्रश्नों को जानने की इच्छा सवाई माधोपुर में की थीं ! किंवदंतियों के अनुसार चौथ माता की प्रतिमा सन 1332 के लगभग चौरू गाँव स्थित थी ! 1394 ईस्वी के लगभग चौथ माता मंदिर की स्थापना बरवाड़ा में की गई थी 1567-68 के समय सुरजन हाडा ने चौथ माता देवी का हाडौती क्षेत्र में भारी प्रचार प्रसार करवाया था !

Chauth Mata Temple is about 35 km from the city on a hill about one thousand feet high. This place is also a center of attraction for tourists and its natural beauty is mind-blowing. There are many monuments made of white marble at this place. With intricate inscriptions on the walls and ceilings, the temple bears the hallmarks of the traditional Rajputana style of architecture.
