This lake is known as Samiti Lake and falls on the way from Lamuney to View Point 1 if you are doing the Goechala Trek. Generally people visit View Point 1 for sunrise so they pass this lake during the night therefore it's visible on your way back. The time we went there it was half frozen on 9th April 2021. We were extremely lucky to get clear weather and could see the lake along with the summit with perfect amounts of snow as the groups that came just 3 days before us couldn't even cross Lamuney due to heavy snow storm.
