Visited Surwaya Ki Garhi is a hidden jewel of heritage in Madhya Pradesh where a small fortress in the vicinity of Shivpuri is a reservoir of architecture brilliance and immense cultural richness . Among the treasure it houses are the series of temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and altars where ancient Hindu practice of Yagna were performed for creating auspiciousness in the Kingdom of Avantivarman . The architecture pattern owes itself to the Kachchaphaghta style of early medieval India where theme of music , dance and demi-gods is clearly visible in the fabulous sculptures out there . It is credited for surviving quite well in the medieval era where central India was a scene of battles of native Indian Kings with Turkish Sultanate and later on Mughals . A must see if you venture around Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) , Shivpuri and Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) .

Absolutely fantastic experience here when we were visiting Shivpuri during our Motorcycle ride last weekend. The entire facility is beautifully maintained and was spotless clean. We had a wonderful time here understanding more about the history of this region. Helmets off to the entire team of ASI was working hard to maintain this historical landmark. Would love to visit again. 100% recommended.

Situated about 22 Kms from Shivpuri on Jhansi road. It's a nice, quiet and serene place situated at the outskrit of a small village in Shivpuri. The fort is historic and comes under Archeological Survey of india. The Fort is maintained properly. Under maintenance of Archeological Survey of India... No entry fee to see this fort, mostly very few persons come to see this Place.

Had 04 days of farm stay at a farm named an Authentic Farm at village Gujarra Khurd Simraha,MP. The farm was booked after seeing the review on the net but was really disappointed by the accommodation and the food provided in the farm. The farm stay is consisting of one big room with three bed lined up in it and a attached bathroom. In one corner of the room there was a big table which can be used as Dining table. Due to approaching summer it was too hot inside and out side the room. The room was having two fans which pumped in hot air making the stay miserable. At one point of time thought of changing the location of the stay. The room without cooler was unbearable. The food provided was not up to the mark and was charged at par with that of three star hotel. Due to these reasons most of the time we spend out side the farm and even dined out side at Jhansi which is approximately 13 kms from the farm. Only advantage we had was that it was a pet friendly and pets were permitted. Overall experience of was not...
