This is one of a good place to enjoy with our family and friends. Parking facility- a big space is there for car parking infront of the dam park. In between a road goes. If Parking will be full, we can use to park with the road sides. So many hotels are there in roadways. They are selling food with dam fish fry. If u want u may. No shops inside of the park. So if u want any snacks and food, you can buy outside and we can take in the park. Entrance of the park, we want to buy tickets to enter the park. The cost is only 5 rupees. Superb and good 👍. Water facility available always. So many water pipes are there for external use only. So many chairs and benches are there to sit and take rest under the trees. Boating 🚢 🚣♂️ 🛶 available for adults and kids. Has need and clean. More games are there for kids and adults.

One such a beautiful park Infront of BHAVANISAGAR DAM , it has a big play area for both child's and adult, it has pantry inside, and there a large love bird cage, there are many fish fry shops both inside and outside the dam. Now a days they are not allowed to go upstairs of the dam except one day @ aadi function in a whole year. There's a paid parking facilities and entry ticket is too low they charge rs5 per kids & rs10 per adult. There's an small boating inside. And theres an old bridge outside the dam straight opposite to the dam gate way it's better to avoid to have a ride with any transport vehicles because it's condition is too bad. All over It's an good place to visit as a family tour etc.

A very old age dam and park, after 20years we visit again this park, in my childhood this place was a very famous and amazing location for outing and picnic, famous shooting place for cinemas and outdoor wedding shoot, that time park was maintained very well and beautiful place for all, but now it's very critical conditions except one are two area, park maintenance very poor and no carring about this area, goverment need to concentrate this area seriously and bring back our traditional areas, 5to6 game's are there but that one also no expected level, in water game only kids liked but they didn't care about water it's come bad smell and dam area lot of water source available but no one not carring about this, they only focusing mony, we loosing our traditional one by one without carring, and people also using this place for recycling area like plastic cups, cloths and dirty thinks this is not acceptable.. need to concentrate TN gvt tourism board and recover back again old type

Good place for children to be fun here. Place is well maintained. Most of our people go here to have their good over here because it has good place to sit and have good. Good grass lands and varandas to be seated. Children can play here very happily. Some of couple shooting can be done here and good place for them too... Monkeys are here do be careful while having food but they are disturbing our meals much. As I have gone here in this July 2021 it is being COVID19 time the Park is not with water in those canals here for the view. A big drawback here is not well maintained Rest rooms. Management have to keep it in their priority list as it is being such a important and public place .

- There is a park near by, if you go with childrens can spend time there. - More eatable shops are available there (icecream, manhi with chilly powder, watermelon, etc). But the highlight is there are many hotels offers fried fish (missed to take a picture) - Usually they dont allow us to walk on the dam top. We are allowed to see the dam from the park and near by bridge. - We got a special permission and visited at the top of the bridge, it is very long than i imagined (around 7 Kms roads there), we can enjoy water stagnant view from there, also can able to see mountains (I think it is ooty) from there. Very nice view.

We went there on 10-09-2022.The park has a vast area. But it is not maintained well. I can say no maintenance at all. Entry fee was 5 rupees ( for above 3 years of age) on 10-09-2022. So i say it is a good place for the entry fee of 5 rupees. We can not go on top of bhavani sagar dam. Just a sight from nearby is possible. There are some slides and Swings for children which was good. Also we can take food inside and eat as family together or friends together. So i recommend to go to the park with family or friends if you are staying nearby or passing through sathyamangalam.
