Birla Falls stands as one of Valparai's most breathtaking natural marvels.

Nestled within a dense forest, the falls' allure is heightened by its natural surroundings. The water cascades from a considerable height, crafting a spellbinding spectacle that captures the essence of awe. The lush greenery enveloping the waterfall augments the visual delight, presenting a feast for the eyes.

To reach the falls, visitors embark on a brief trek spanning approximately 1 kilometer. The trekking path is meticulously maintained and offers manageable difficulty, rendering it accessible to a wide range of individuals. Along the route, the abundance of flora and fauna native to this forest can be observed, adding an enriching dimension to the journey.

The prime window to explore Birla Falls is the monsoon season, when the falls exhibit their fullest splendor. However, it's advised to exercise caution as the path could become slippery due to rain.

In sum, Birla Falls is an indispensable haven for nature enthusiasts and anyone yearning for a tranquil escape from urban commotion. Its charm is certain to etch an enduring mark on your memories, creating an experience destined to be cherished...

Scam !!! 50,000 fine for entering 🫡 This place is literally a scam. We 10 memebers with 5 bikes visited by following google map. There will be a very tiny restricted area board outside which goes unnoticed by you. The gate will be purposely kept open for you to enter in and while u return the gate will be closed and gurds will be waiting to plant a money extortion scam of 50,000 rupees each person 5000 in the name of fine. 😆😂 We got threatened to seize all 5 bikes, our mobiles, bike documents and bike keys were snatched by the gurds and threatened us that we will end up in court for next 2 days. After wasting 1 and half hours they came up with solution of give money and take your bikes and no case. With no other option and pleading for mercy we end up giving 500 each person total 5000 rupees in cash after negotiation without any fine receipt and formalities. And u will see this as the fianal option because we were more than 500kms away from home. Be aware of the gurads, one big guy and tiny guy. Happened on 01/11/25 Enough adventure and great treatment by valparai tourism. Thanks birla estate owners, gurds and...

This place is a hidden gem at Valparai. Perched in between sprawling tea plantation at a relatively remote location, this stunning waterfall is a treat to your eyes and song to your ears. I would rate this as the best spot to visit in Valparai. The roads are narrow and poorly maintained, so it is recommended not to drive yourselves unless you are an expert driver. The waterfalls is located within the birla tea estate. You will have to park vehicle within the small settlement at your own risk and climb down the slippery steps towards the falls. No tickets are needed for entry. When we went there, we were the only people there so we could enjoy it all by ourselves. There is a small iron bridge built across the waterfall over which you can walk through. But entering the waters is strictly advised against, given the slippery rocks and powerful currents.
