Read moreIt was previously very nice to visit and worship the deity which is shining with power, glory and give immense peace and offer our garland and thulasi malai to the deity, gave thulasi theertham. You can worship from 10 feet distance. Go near the ursavars .
Now, nothing is there.
The deity decorated but with out lights , from long distance can't seen clearly. No garland offerings to the deity ,no thulasi theertham. The priest gave garlands to some , leaving others, .
Why the priest was allowed to use cellphone while inside the temple and attending people who came in long line and that too from far off places.
Even harathy was done for few people. Some people's gardands were taken inside, many of ours were asked to kept in a box
Usually in perumal koils such partialities won't be there. Social distancing is needed between humans and not between the God almighty and His devotees.
In short the inner peace , sense of calmness and happiness which filled you after visiting Perumal's abode was not there.
This is our first temple visit after corona lock down , first Saturday ,of margali. Got a feeling , could have gone some other Perumal temple in Chennai itself.
Won't like to go to dhishina Tirupati temple in future.

Read moreI recently visited Dhakshina Thirupathi Temple located at MWJH+3R6, Dakshina Tirupathi, Gopasandram–Kamandoodi, Shoolagiri Taluk — a serene and well-known spiritual destination just off the Hosur–Krishnagiri highway.
The temple surroundings are peaceful and beautifully maintained. As per tradition, you can break a coconut here, and I was fortunate to be guided by a kind Telugu family who explained the correct rituals with great warmth.
A pooja kit is conveniently available right in front of the temple for just ₹100, and prasadam is also provided, much like in many temples across Karnataka. Parking is completely free, and the temple’s location offers a picturesque view.
I would highly recommend visiting this temple at least once, preferably in the early morning or during the evening for the best experience. Whether you are on a spiritual journey or simply exploring hidden gems near Hosur, this place is worth adding to your list. Imp:- if you are lucky you can spot beautiful peacocks dancing out there.
