Gundar Private Falls — Attraction in Tamil Nadu

In one line: "Its just a River inside forest." Stretching over a Kilometre and the flowing water falls in some places which makes the place somewhat Plesant to view and enjoy. Over crowed due to YouTube influencers. As usual YouTubers glorified the place. For people coming from metro city, water scarcity towns, I gurantee this place will give you a memorable, adventure and plesant experience. People coming from areas near to any foothills town will not be satisfied as these kind place will already available in their neighborhood.

Total stretch of the river belongs to Government. Some places are blocked by local people and says it as Private Water Falls. They will ask for ₹50/- per head to take a private bath. But to my opinion it is worth giving as they won't allow other than families. And you'll have some privacy and safety. Recently visited the private waterfalls at kundaru dam which is around 7 km from Sengottai. Generally, tourists on their way to Courtralam visit this dam and park. To reach the falls on the hills, we have to hire a jeep on a very steep rocky terrain. It’s one of the most fun and adventurous travel through steep road on the Jeep, as it’s full of rock pathways. There are also other falls in this area, in which people go by walk or by jeep.

Visited this private waterfalls,which is 10 kms from sengottai ,till 7 kms you can drive through with your own vehicle i.e, till gundur dam but after that to reach this falls you can trek or you have to hire a jeep.but i suggest to go in a jeep.coz its one of the most fun and adventurous ride through the narrow path surrounded by trees.The price for jeep and private falls may seems a little bit huge.
