I visited during the Jan 27th where less crowd or even no crowd i can say.

One of the most significant dam and waterfalls in the state.

It's a must-see destination for anyone traveling to the TN state!

In addition to the stunning beauty of the falls itself, the road leading to Manimutharu WaterFalls is also a scenic treat! As I made my way towards the falls, I couldn't help but marvel at the rugged mountains that surrounded me, their peaks covered in lush greenery.

The road winds its way through dense forests and picturesque countryside, offering spectacular views at every turn. I felt like I was on a journey through paradise!

As I drove further up the winding road, I couldn't help but appreciate the raw and unspoiled beauty of the natural environment around me. The air was fresh and invigorating, and the cool breeze blowing through the trees was a welcome relief from the heat of the day.

Overall, the journey to Manimutharu WaterFalls was just as enjoyable as the destination itself. If you're a nature lover looking for a truly immersive experience, I highly recommend taking the road less traveled and exploring the stunning natural beauty of this area.

I have captured the same and I have uploaded here.

Pros:

~ Beautiful scenery on the roads while reaching the falls ~ Decent parking space available

Cons:

~ No restroom facilites ~ No proper dress change rooms or waiting rooms available ~ No...

Hidden Gem Near Coutralam Falls! 🌿💦 Wow! What a lovely and beautiful place to enjoy. Located just 40 km away from Coutralam Falls, this mesmerizing spot is far less crowded, making it a peaceful escape. Though the waterfall here is smaller in height, the force of the water is incredible—you literally can’t stand against it! It pushes you right off your spot, which makes it super fun, especially when you're with a group of friends. 🎉 Right next to the falls, you’ll find a dam, which is quite rare to witness together. I’ve never seen a dam and waterfall side by side like this—it’s truly a unique experience! They’ve thoughtfully provided separate dress changing rooms for ladies, ensuring privacy and safety. 👍 The same road also leads to Manjolai, which is a restricted forest area where entry is not allowed without special permission. This entire place is under the control of the Forest Department, and there are strict security checks. Carrying snacks, food, or drinks is not allowed—if you bring any, they’ll be taken at the check post and returned to you on the way back. 📅 Best time to visit: June to August, when the falls are at their best. Manimuthar River originates on the eastern slopes of Western Ghats in Tirunelveli District of the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India. It is a major tributary of the Tambaraparani River. The river begins in the dense forest on a mountain peak 1,300 metres (4,300 ft) above sea level in Ambasamudram taluk and flows 9 kilometres (6 mi) though small cataracts until it reaches the Tambaraparani River near Kallidaikurichi. The tributaries of the Manimuthar are the Keezha River and the Varattar River. As a tributary, the Manimuther River adds a considerable amount of water to the Tamiraparani River as it seasonally is always in full. In 1957, Manimuthar anicut was built across the river 3 kilometres (2 mi) before its juncture with the Tamiraparani. It was an wonderful day for me I got another opportunity to Bath in falls like this a good place to stay Wealthy environment loving it Greenary situation and missing that place There is no risky place for kids. It is suitable for all age groups. It is danger free falls. You can enjoy with family and friends.
