Moir Point is a delightful spot named after Sir Thomas Moir, this location serves as the entrance to the forest that extends to the beautiful Berijam Lake. It offers some of the best views of the valleys, making it a must-visit for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. Please note the route to Berijam lake is closed on Tuesday. The best time to visit is during summers and winters and one may avoid during rainy season as the viewpoints are covered with fog and mist and that makes it hard to see. As the route is one-way, Moir Point can be considered the starting point for other notable viewpoints such as Guna Cave and Pillar Rock. This strategic location makes it an essential stop on any Kodaikanal itinerary. It has three photo points: one bull 🐂, second raised platform to view the valley, third one memorial pillar. The entry fee for Moir Point is a reasonable Rs 10, they accept only cash. The parking fee for 4 wheelers is Rs 50, 2 wheelers is Rs 10, for bus is Rs 100. The parking fee covers all the subsequent viewpoints, making it a convenient one-time charge.

View point is good but do not expect much. It is a very cool place same like other places in kodai kanal. There is no proper parking places available for this view point and I feel it is a bad thing. If you are going without any expectations will give good satisfaction. I went there with my wife. I spent almost half an hour there. Ticket charge is very small amount. But I think I will not visit it again. One time can visit. I went there working day and so not much crowded. But good fogie day it was. You will get good view from these view point. Any way there was so many greeneries are there. We can take so many photos. There was a small tower. We can take photos from top of tower. We can get very high view point from top of this tower. Toilet fescility was not available. It was another bad thing. There was hut with benches. We can sit and relax. I was slept 10 minutes there as that day I was tired lot due to long walk. Outside so many shops with veriety of snacks available. Anyway I can conclude it as value of money. One time visitable.
