Visiting Monkey Falls in Coimbatore last year was a refreshing and delightful experience. Nestled amidst the lush mountains, the waterfall offers a picturesque escape into nature, making it a perfect getaway for families and nature lovers alike. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the sound of cascading water and the sight of the beautiful falls flowing down the rocks. The surrounding area was rich with greenery, creating a tranquil atmosphere that felt rejuvenating. The trek to the falls involved a short walk through the forest, which allowed us to soak in the beauty of the natural landscape, with tall trees and vibrant flora all around. As we approached the waterfall, the sight was breathtaking. The water splashed over the rocks, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that invited us to take a closer look. We spent time relaxing by the water's edge, enjoying the cool mist and the soothing sounds of nature. It was a great spot for photography, and we captured many wonderful moments. The experience was both calming and invigorating, allowing us to connect with nature and each other. Monkey Falls is a hidden gem in Coimbatore, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat amid beautiful mountains and refreshing waterfalls.

14 aug 25 - Monkey Falls is a refreshing gem nestled on the Pollachi–Valparai road, just a short drive from Aliyar Dam. The cascading water is crystal clear and cool — perfect for a quick dip or just dipping your feet in after a long ride. The sound of the falls surrounded by lush greenery makes it a calming and scenic spot for nature lovers. There’s a nominal entry fee(50) but if ur tnpl employee then you got free pass , their family gets offer (30), and the area is generally well-maintained, got dressing room for both genders. Just be cautious with your belongings — as the name suggests, curious monkeys might try to "borrow" your snacks! 🐒 Best time to visit is during or just after the monsoon, when the water flow is at its most beautiful. Ideal for a quick stopover on your way to Valparai or as a picnic spot with friends and family. But be careful as rocks are so slippery, it may cause accident. Even today one slipped and made her lips bleed. So be more cautious. Other than that enjoy 😁😁

Had an awesome experience this time! My last visit was disappointing since the falls were closed due to heavy rain, but this time I planned properly and made it. The place is absolutely refreshing, the flow is just perfect, and the whole vibe is soothing. 💧 It’s 100% worth both the money and the time. A must-visit spot if you’re looking for a natural, relaxing break surrounded by greenery. 🌳✨
