Mountain View Adventure Park Yelagiri — Attraction in Tamil Nadu

Overall very good experience and staffs are encouraging to try all the games.

Reaching there from Nature Park took some time and preferable to do this activity before 5 pm.

Games are there for Kids and Adults. They have different packages. I paid Rs. 500 for individual and played all the adult games except Paintball. It's very very reasonable price. If you want to play a particular game only then you can pay only for that and if you place 3 games then it will come around 500. So go for the package and play the games which you have interested. For kids less than 12 years old will have less activities only.

Games: Zipline, ATV Ride, Bungee Jump, Cricket, Giant Swing, Water Zorbing, Kids Boat Ride, Target Shooting (Bottles), Archery, Rope Course.

Zipline - Everyone should try it. At the starting point only you might get nervous-ed but after that you will enjoy it.

Rope Course - Very interesting and thrilling experience. There are 3 stages. 1st stage will be very easy and other 2 stages are difficult. Once you complete the stage 1 then decide whether you can complete the remaining two or not because you will not have choice to get down after starting the second stage.

Bungee Jump - Very thrilling activity I have ever. 45 Foot high and heart stopping action. People of heart decease, neck problems and brain problems should not try this according to me. If you are less weight then your entire body will be twisted in the top. Keep the legs wider to avoid the twist. I was twisted 2 times because of less weight :-( .

Cricket - Enjoyable one. 2 overs (12 balls) and based on your request the bowling speed will be increased and also you can ask for...

The place is surprisingly fun. I did not anticipate a place like Yelagiri to have this good an adventure park. Firstly, I am comparing it with parks like Queensland which had almost no thrill factor for me. The rates were nominal, if you take one of the packages. Individual rides were costlier. Coming to the rides, the Bungee ejection and High rope adventure are very similar to the ones in Black Thunder, but since this park is overlooking a valley, the thrill factor and the view is multiplied three folds. When you reach the highest point of the ejection, the view is breathtaking, (provided you still are breathing and in a mindset to take it in). The zip line was pretty decent and so were the other rides. Special mention to ATV driving course. You can ride the course around their park in a 90cc (200₹) or a 400cc (400₹) vehicle and it was surprisingly difficult to control it, and this is coming from someone who drives bike a lot. The exclusive rides for kids were limited to Boating in small pond and other games which you can find on any mall. The park also offers two treks you can go to. One is a 3 Km trek which ends in a waterfall. For best experience, visit after June and before Feb. The second is a relatively longer one, 6+6 kms and ends on one of the peaks. Only consider them if you are going for the adventure park. I had the worst experience during my camp stay with them, we were group of 4 who booked there stay through Goibibo during 13th to 15th August (2nights).

We were late to reach the location on 13th and we had to wait 40mins to get our tent as all the tents were already occupied. Once we got the tent after an hour few members came and they wanted us to vacate our tent as they have got a booking from the other group which was direct. It was a chaos as we had already paid 12K for 2nights. After resisting to their request we came to know that the camping is managed by another organisation.

On 14th we had discussed this issue with the manager who is Sakthivel and the mount view owner Sharmila, both of them are highly uncooperative and they even demanded for additional 11K by saying that we had paid less amount through Goibibo. We had requested for food which we said we will pay and have, still the owner started saying that they never registered their property in online site and they don’t know how we got through, it ended with a bitter taste on our mouth towards this property and will highly suggest to not recommend this place for ur stay even if u get it for a...
