Natrayan Swamy Temple, Vellakovil — Attraction in Tamil Nadu

This temple is famous for ritual animal sacrifice which is usually goat or chicken. They start around 4 am in the morning and after few rituals animal sacrifice is made at a separate place adjacent to the temple. Then they have place to process the meat and then there is a large hall where we can dine food (usually the meat) which are cooked just outside the hall. They also make sweet pongal as a divine food offering for the deity. Along with this sweet pongal and rest of the cooked food prayers and offerings are made to the gods in all the three temples followed by lunch.

The temple appears recently renovated or added structure to previously built temple with ample space and neat surrounding. There is space surrounding the temple for parking vehicles. There are toilets available for both men and women which are fairly maintained.

Temple darshan is satisfactory and by the look of it we can understand that a lot of people visit...

What a wonderful and a devotional place of God. I have already went for twice this temple and worshiped the God along with my family members. Very beautiful and a large amount of spacious also mingled with natural place. Recently this temple has been newly renovated. The sanctum sanctuary of the middle hall is situated in high and the steps are in orders. All the basic amenities are available for the devotees those are visiting here.Every one should be visit at least once in their's lifetimes and should be get the Almighty's...

Nice temple, but mottaikku 200rs , thenkai odaikka money, kathu kutha 600 rs, chairs 10 ku rent, worst tiolets facility and no cleaning, aadu vetti clean seiya 500 koli aruka 100 atha clean panni cut pannA 200, finally I can say there is big business hup is that temple... Samyku vachu pooja panna thatla 101 rs vakkanum,, their order... Samy kumpdratha vida kasu ready ah vachukkanum... Please make it clean and peace,,, I didn't see these things in a big temple s...all toilet and bathroom doors are corroded and broken, please change...
