Pulla Veli falls can be reached via a short trek from the Thandikudi main road. You can also drive your vehicle till the point where you reach a bridge and walk from there. The falls itself is very difficult to access from this location. Even if you were to climb down to the base of the falls, it is strongly recommended not to take bath if you don't know swimming and when the water force is high. There is a deep gorge just beyond the base of the falls which will surely be fatal if you slip. There is a broken rope bridge which is not in a usable state currently. This was supposed to lead to the other side of the falls but we didn't want to risk it. There is a small stream which leads to the falls where you can take some pics....

It has 3 places to visit in same location. The first place is main falls, which is not easily accessible and its very risky to reach there so we avoided it. No way to enter it. You need to climb down to reach the place.
You can reach the second place through new hanging bamboo bridge. It's very easily accessible for any one. You can take bath in flowing water.
The 3rd place is starting point of Pullaveli Falls. The entry to this one is through a hidden way and you can easily search and reach there from main road after crossing the road bridge in 300-400 metres. You can reach with family....
