The coastal village of Samiyarpettai, population 1,729, lies midway between Cuddalore and Chidambaram east of Pudhuchattiram in Tamil Nadu, India. It is the largest of the coastal villages in the surrounding. Most of the people here make a living by fishing. Many other men, like from other coastal villages have moved to other countries to work to make a living. The village is surrounded by coconut trees, with brooks running alongside the village. It also hosts a famous Temple "Shri Pinnai Vazhi Amman Shrine". Its one of the biggest temple's alongside the cuddalore coast. Recently, Samiyarpettai beach is getting crowd's attention and has become one of the popular holiday spot.

Highly recommended .. A must visit spot with family . Lovely ambiance wide beach . No more strong tides and shallow water . It's super beautiful ❤️ . Near Chidambaram and pichavaram mangrove forests . You can take awasome pics here . Small shops of snaks and juce are here . Nothing much for shopping from here .Boats and fishing nets are on the shore as there are lots of fishermen families out here . This beach is safer and cleaner than Poompuhar beach which is nearby . We can see the lighthouse of poompuhar from this beach . After bathing in the sea if you want to clean off the salt and sand there are some handpumps of fresh water nearby .

Clean and best beach to spend time and have bath .... Highly recommended... Spotlessly clean water and everyone will enjoy...A clean and calm beach fit for swimming is a delightful and refreshing place to visit. It typically has crystal-clear water, soft and fine-grained sand, and a gentle slope into the sea. The water is not too deep, and the waves are not too strong, making it ideal for swimming and other water activities. It is also free from debris, litter, and pollutants, making it a safe and pleasant environment for visitors to enjoy. The surrounding area is lush with vegetation or have a few scattered palm trees, providing some shade and a place to relax in between dips in the water. Additionally, the beach may have some facilities like showers, changing rooms, and restrooms for visitors to use. Overall, a clean and calm beach fit for swimming is a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, offering a sense of peace and tranquility that can be enjoyed by individuals or...
