very good temple calm, serene and big temple situated stop a hillock. enough space for parking 50 vehicles on an average. the temple houses a well built Homas performing mandapam wherein multiple types of Homams are performed on notice. and it can easily seat 50 to 60 persons at ease. further it has inhouse Veda patasala which helps nurture young minds on Vedas. ancient seers statues are there reminding their life and works. Almighty goddess and Lord Muruga are placed such that they come face to face . I am in dearth of words to explain the most auspicious presence of Almighty Goddess blown in full form, a moment to be realised only by self. Sri Chakaram is located in front of Goddess. further the founder's martal remains are interred right in front of Almighty Goddess, a very rare feat that one in a million can hope to achieve. further the founder's statue is fabricated such that it looks always lively friendly and enthusiastic, a moment of awe-inspiring. there a number of statues of different gods making us feel as if they are made to scale the skies. well maintained surroundings with neatly made metal enclosures for lighting the earthenware lamps. pools of bath are available beneath the temple. I heard that Lord Muruga Himself chose this place choosing Shri Shantananda Swamigal as His launch pad. all nine planets along with their consorts are located around Lord Muruga's shrine. very worth visiting temple atleast once in a life time. it is near Salem around 11 kilometres away and can be located very easily with Google Maps. I request anyone visiting this temple to spend atleast one hour to pray and have his mind resonate with gracious presence of blissful Almighty Goddess. I got fully submerged in Almighty Goddess bliss for a long time apart from singing a few Sanskrit slokas written by the Great Shri Sankara Bhagavatha, in praise of Almighty Goddess. these type of experiences happen very rarely and must be caught hold of as they are here for sure to brighten our lives. what more can I say, Om...

This temple complex began to flourish with Vedic school since 1972. It is situated on East side hillock from Salem town on the bank of a stream Kannimaar odai. It has Navagraha statues of very big size with their wives surrounding Lord Subrahmanya(Gnana Skandar). The list of very big statues of unique hindu gods and Sidhars surrounding the temple will be long one. Because of the newly developed NH road this place is very much isolated. Google map helps a lot showing different route for four and two wheeler. In ordinary days better visit during the day time as the two lane approach NH roads are busy with evening traffic.

Very peaceful and beautiful location it’s at the midest of the mountains.⛰️ We came to know about this temple on google recommendation, it was really worth coming to this place. You will see most of the deities at this place are huge structures. Ample parking space is available and also there are few shops to buy the pooja items. You have meditation hall and goshala is available at the premises. Definitely I would recommend going to this temple when your in Salem.
