Travelled this temple at Jan 26 2022 Republic Day From Chennai Madhawarm . Satarted at 5AM after 3 hour bike (Passion pro 100cc) travel reached this foothills .There is lot of farms at foothills farmers doing their works at their land There was excellent view after long time . Then i locked bike and carry bag and helmet with me . There is two ways to start our hike one is new path witch is newly build with stairs Another one old which is mud and rocks to hike . As an enthusiast's i chose old path which is has mini man made water fall .form there about 20 min i have reached AMMAN temple there is terrific SNAKE statue and Lion Statue are the There is spend about 10 MIN and start then only the real challenge begin . the hill roughly 90 degree i was weak and tried i took break for every 10 steps . after 1.10 Hours finally reached temple at the up hill if you are good in hike you can reach about 30 to 40 Minutes.
Firstly Lord Ganesh welcome us there was no priest we should pray our own . Then Thawalagiriswarar below lord Murugan and old sivalingam is there after praying i was there about 2 hours watch the Vanthavasi town and agri land from the top is pure bliss .
We can down the foothill about 20 min i choose new path with stairs for down .. Over all experience was really good.
Please visit the temple at least once in life time you will never regret.
