Vellalore Lake — Attraction in Tamil Nadu

The 90acres lake holds a home for various species of flora and fauna. The lake was driedup for 12years with little to nil water due to encroachments on the water inlet canal. The lake is now back to its old form with water brimming to its full level, thanks to NGO(Kovai kulangal pathukappu amaipu) who worked on the fields to get water back to the lake.
