I visited this place in the year of 2015. I reserve an auto to visit Warangal fort, Khush Mahal , Mata Bhadrakali temple. Khush Mahal was built in the 14th Century by Tughlaqs. It is also known as Shitab Khan Mahal. The building is totally influenced by Tughlaq architecture. The entire building is constructed out of granite. There is also an staircase to the top from where you can see the visuals of Warangal fort and surrounding areas. Inside the Khush Mahal you will find some idols of gods. From Hanamkonda bust stand this place is just 9-10km. I attached some photos here , all are clicked in the year of 2015.

The architect of these monument is amazing. Not very big yet attractive. All airy and everything is well planned. Need to visit this if you are visiting Warangle fort. Khush Mahal has sloping walls and slanting arches which are specific characteristics of structure built during Tughluq dynasty. Longer walls of the mahal, on the eastern and western side, have projecting stockade and six arches with thin rectangles through which light enters the hall. The main chamber is spacious with high ceilings. It can be entered through a huge entrance on the north. There are small storage rooms on each side of the hall.

Lovely historical monument which I visited in 2018, set very close to the Warangal Fort. It is a medium-sized monument, built according to the legend in the 14th century. The reason for its construction is unknown but it is believed to be built by the Delhi Sultanate which held brief sway over the Warangal Fort for some time. The inside of the structure consists of some tombs and has a high ceiling so échos are predominant. It is quite well-maintained compared to the rest of the Warangal Fort, of which only ruins can be seen.

We visited this monument on the way to Warangal fort, it can be considered as a part of the fort but it is located a little ahead of the main fort park. The entry here is free, inside you can find a few statues , most of them have some sort of damage, mostly broken heads of the idols. It is literally the living proof of the big time damage done by the invaders. You can dedicate like 10 minutes for this place , not much to see here.

A unique and beautiful stone structure located just beside the Warangal fort. There are many unique stone idols inside this structure placed neatly. There is no entry ticket for this. One good thing about this place is you can climb up to the roof to have a beautiful view of the Warangal fort and the surrounding area. The steps are too steep could be difficult for senior people to climb, but the efforts are worth the view.
