This temple is located on the top of the hills at Velichai, Pudhupakkam in Vandalur - Kelambakkam road. Tallest Lord Hanuman statue is there infront of steps. Lord Ganesha temple and Navagraha Temple are located at the foothills. Temple entrance has many shops where all kind of Pooja and archana products available. God photos and dollars also available here available. Now a days even more shops like mobile juice shops..and snacks available on the way to temple. Enough car parking and two wheeler parking space available nearby. Lord Rama and Lord Anjaneya temples have been located on the top of hills. Vehicles are allowed till the top of hill. Couple of hair pin bends are there. Lord Shiva temple and Lord Ganesha temple are there on the way to top. Close to 100 steps are there which is being maintained properly for visitors who can reach the top by walking. Both the sides of the steps are maintained with gardens all the way. Half of the pathway has been covered by shed on top. Takes 5 minutes to reach hill by walk. Lord Hanuman temple is located at centre of the hill facing east and lord Rama temple faces west. Beautiful paints have been drawn newly due to the Kumbabhishegam completed couple of weeks ago. Prashadham stall is available to infront of the temple. People can get prashadham by paying the amount through Paytm, Google pay and Cash as well. Products like laddu, Sweet Pongal, Tamarind rice and other snacks items are available. Water taps are available at the backside of the temple for washing the hands. There is a place of Lord Hanuman foot where people tie the raw coconut as an evidence of the their holy request to God. A view point is available where people sit and relax. People takes selfies from this view point now a days. Thirumadappalli is situated nearby the temple at right side. Lord Hanuman is facing North side. Lord Rama is blessing people along with his younger brother Lakshman and his better half Devi Seetha. Everytime I visit this temple I get a kind of peace in my mind. Lord Rama and Lord Hanuman may bless everyone with peace and health. Jai Shree Ram....Hara...

It is located on Vandalur-Kelambakkam road and there is a bus stop in front of the temple itself. It's coming under MTC 515 and 555 route. It appears a lot of cleaning had been done at the entrance since I last saw 2 months ago and the entire temple and its surroundings appear clean and tidy. There are about 80 steps to the temple, out of which about 30 to 40 are only as high as 2 to 3 inches and the remaining are as high as about 6 to 8 inches and in between every 3 steps, there is a slope of about 1 to 2 metres. So, even elderly people can easily reach the temple via steps and there is a well-laid ghat road also for 2 wheelers and cars and as many as 10 cars can be parked at the hilltop and about 60 to 70 cars can be parked at one side of the ghat road and about 10 cars can be parked at the base of the temple. There are several shops available which sell all kind of pooja materials at the reasonable rates and there is a Prasadam shop at the hilltop where they sell the Prasadam at reasonable rates. Though there is relatively more crowd in Saturdays, the waiting time for darshan is not more than 15 minutes. The ambience in and around the temple premises is excellent and the view from the...

Good place for the divine blessings.

Entrance is welcomed by the big lord Hanuman idol.

Inside another big lord Hanuman and Karudar idols at the two ends of steps.

As per history, lord Hanuman placed his feet while searching for sanjeevni medicine mountain.

Less steps.. We went in car on Saturday.

3 hairpin bends - 2 sharp and steep. 1st gear needed for old cars. On normal days no problem. But during Saturdays, drive carefully. On top hill, on Saturdays parking is a problem. Most of them park on the steep sideways up the hill and near the bends. Better to reach earlier on Saturdays.

We can tie the coconuts near the lord Hanuman divine feet idol with prayers. But that coconut was available at down only not on the hill.

Bottle of Puli thokku and idli podi available for sale. With other usual sweets and food items. Never miss dosa with podi. They were friendly, QR scan/gpay is there.

There s a guy who splash water on our face and another guy, who drew NAAMAM on our forehead.

Inside sanctum, Lord Hanuman is etched on the mountain rock itself. Really divine feel.

It's quite a good view from the top.

Driving down is easy, but don't drive on...

This visit was truly one of the most peaceful and high-vibe experiences I’ve ever had at a temple. Unlike many temples that are often overcrowded and rushed, this place radiated calm, serenity, and positive energy. We visited around 4:30 to 5 PM, and I highly recommend that timing — the weather was perfect, slightly drizzling, and the mountain-top breeze made the whole experience divine. The temple is located at the top of a small mountain with around 108 steps. The steps are wide and flat, making it easily climbable even for elderly visitors — my mother climbed it comfortably without any leg pain or strain. Climbing down was even easier, and honestly, felt like nature just carried us gently. There’s ample parking space at the base, and after experiencing the steps, we also decided to try the road route to the top by car. It had around 3 hairpin bends, and the drive was just as scenic and soul-soothing. Mother Nature was at her best. It’s a must-visit spot for those looking to combine spiritual vibes with nature’s calm. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.
