Very old history of company garden as it is a beauty of nature in the middle of the city covered with old huge green trees which are home to many birds. It's a botanical garden after one in Kolkata and others. It's a horticulture research and training centre help many farmers with new variety of crops and techniques. Every year they organise Flower and food show this year it's on 14th and 15th March, 2023. Needs lots of maintainance including the old buidling/s and the banglaw of the chief/ head of the baag/ baadshah ka baag/company garden! Lots ofbhiatroy is hidden inside the library of the so called company garden: the top number 1 botanical garden during the British time.... But Indian administration forgot it's contribution to the capacities and capabilities. Lots of research, develoment, maintenance etcetera is needed urgently which is missing even after receiving payments from the visitors and pass-holders and more improvement in terms of update and alert security is an alarming need when somebody had cut and theft the Sandal wood tree/s from such a precious possion of us we Indians and our loving and respected Bharut, Bharut varsham! I recently visited this awesome place and instantly liked this garden maintained by the Government of India. I liked peripheral road around it, hundreds of varieties of mango trees including Alphonso, herbal plants like ashwagandha, fruit-bearing trees like guava and commercial trees like mahogany, teak etc.

Work is being done to further beautify this wonderful garden. The place is so tranquil do ss to give you peace of mind. Local people are using it for daily jogging. They are so lucky!
