Dargah-e-Ala Hazrat needs no introduction. Also famous as Bareilly Sharif, Dargah-e-Ala Hazrat is a sacred site for the followers of Islam. The tomb also witnesses a large number of devotees on Urs-e-Rizvi and birth & death anniversary of Ahmad Raza Khan. Old roadways bus station is nearby from here. Auto rickshaw, E-rickshaw and other vehicles are available to reach here. Read moreIf you are looking for a holy place to visit, I highly recommend the Aastana e Aala Hazrat, which is easily accessible by auto or rickshaw during non-peak hours. The place is well-maintained and kept clean, which gives a refreshing change.
One of the great things about this place is that there is a nearby masjid, which makes it easy to perform your prayers before or after visiting. Additionally, there are many shops catering for Muslims in the surrounding area, which is great if you need to stock up on prayer mats, hijabs, or other items.
Another convenience is that a Wazu station is available on-site, allowing you to perform ritual ablutions before visiting the mazar.
If you are coming from the railway station, you can take an auto straight to the mazar which takes approximately 15 minutes and costs around 60 rupees.
If you're planning to stay overnight, I recommend looking for accommodation near the railway station as that area has a lot of good hotels. Overall, visiting this Aastana was a truly peaceful and spiritual experience for me, which was enhanced by the accessibility and convenience of the location.
