Keetham Lake — Attraction in Uttar Pradesh

Good place to hang out with friends, Keetham lake, also known as the Sur Sarovar, is a scenic lake just outside agra on the agra -delhi highway (NH 2). This scenic lake, is about 20 km from Agra And 12 km from sikandra is located within the Sur Sarovar Bird Sanctuary. Keetham Lake is linked by Railway track at Keetham Railway Station and was declared as National Bird Sanctuary on 27 March 1991 by U.P. Forest Department. The riverine belt of River Yamuna surrounds the area of Sur-Sarovar.The entire lake is formed in a catchment area of 7.13 km². Keetham Lake is pentagonal in shape. There are artificially created islands for shelter and breeding grounds to the migratory birds.The best thing is that is placed on the way of Delhi and tourist can visit during their journey to Agra.The climatic conditions of the lake area is typical of Uttar Pradesh plains with hot windy summers and extremely cold winters. If you lives in Agra or near city... u must visit this keetham lake.... the place is very beautiful naturally and a verdant place environment.... the large forest makes the lake more interesting.... best place for lovers to enjoy best moments of their life.... or group of boys friends to enjoy their company of friendship.... and if you wanna to go keetham lake... i would suggest that you should go with your vehicle just like bike... because it's too long way to insight from the enter gate... at least 1 km away from entrance gate to main lake.... other both sides are beautiful forest.... 40 rs ticket of one person and 20 rs of entering bike.... when i went there i feel really good.... if you think this review is helpful for you then like it bcz it will encourage me to write such true and good reviews..... thank you...

We reached forest gate at abt 12 pm Getting car inside fee is 100, 30 per person for forest only and 20 per person extra for bear park optional…A children park was very near to the entry gate. Further on a lush green environment we moved ahead….The forest starred to be more densed…And suddenly we see a beautiful, clean and clear KeethamLake on our left. With benches were fixed on the lake shore even they have provide small car parking space in between trees….there is no restaurant inside only a tea cafe with some snacks…..In this Bear park every bear is rescued and maintain park for bears to live in their natural inhabitant…..Complete forest area was overall neat and clean…its a family place, good place to have picnic , place away from city chaos, place to meditate, place to have a real...
