This natural wonder offered a refreshing break and a plethora of adventures to explore. One of the most appealing aspects of Bhatta Waterfall is its accessibility – there's no fee required to enjoy its beauty. This makes it an ideal spot for travelers seeking budget-friendly attractions. As we descended towards the waterfall, the lush greenery and serene ambiance welcomed us, creating a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. What truly sets Bhatta Waterfall apart is the variety of experiences it offers. It is a water fall engineered out of a stream and finally feeds the waterworks. One can either take the ropeway from the Mussoorie road to the adventure park which is fun for kids and adults too. All activities are paid. Has clean well maintained toilets. Entry charges 50 per person. Toddlers go free. It is well maintained and a good place for family activities. Has better behaved crowd then the other side. One downside was the stale stagnant water in the boating pool. So u may not let your kids play with that water. For bathing it offers a small separate nonnatural swimming pool for payment. Zipline, swings and more is available. It is almost fully outdoor so do not pick a rainy day to visit. Other part of the falls is small pools created by the stream where there are shacks selling tea, cold drinks and Maggie noodles etc and have placed tables in these pools. This has unpaid areas for bathing inthe gentle stream. These shacks also rent out costumes for bathing and have changing areas (barely bearable but offer privacy) all for a charge. Also some pay and use toilets at some shacks. The shack owners are otherwise nice and decent. One can also drive down to the falls and mid way there is a fork and the left side will take you to the adventure park which is downstream and right to the free to enter part of the falls. One can also walk up or down hill to any of the two segments.

Bhatta Falls is a must-visit place for nature lovers! 🏞️ #BhattaFalls #NatureLover #Waterfall Since I'm from Dehradun, I've been visiting this hidden gem since 2011. Back then, it was a serene, untouched waterfall known only to a few. Just two small tea shops and the falls, that's all there was. No parking fees, no charges, everything was free. 😌 But my recent visit showed me a completely different side. 😱 The government has taken over and transformed it into a full-fledged tourist spot, complete with an adventure park and all the trimmings. Here's the not-so-fun part: 😒 - Parking goons charge 100 rupees per car, but they don't even manage the parking. You're on your own to find a spot. 🤦♂️ - If you want to avoid the hassle, you can take a trolley to the falls. One-way costs 150 rupees per person, and a round trip is 250 rupees. 💸 Despite these inconveniences, Bhatta Falls is still a great place to spend time with family and friends. You can even have snacks right in the middle of the water! 🏞️ #FamilyTime #WaterFun Overall, it's a beautiful spot worth visiting, but be prepared for some touristy changes. 😊
