A simple yet majestic spot near Champawat at Dhakna village. A trail of about 2-3 kms leads you to the naula which literally means natural spring water. The hike is easy to moderate level of difficulty. The village is connected by road. The village is about 3-4 kms away from Chmpawat town. There are many interesting stories about this Naula. The story goes that Ek Hathiya ka Naula was constructed in just one night by the one handed artisan, singly. There is another version that it was constructed in just one night by 100 artisans which seems more believable. The spring water is pure and taste very good. The trail first passes through the village houses and farms and then into the forest. The trail is also connected to trails which will lead you to Mayawati Ashram.
