Jawahar Aquarium — Attraction in Uttarakhand

It it small but can be visited. I am not fond of fish but my husband is fish lover so he was glad to be there. A different place to visit.it is only rs. 50/person and rs30 extra for photography. Thay have different fish. First they will take you to the 1st floor which is quit good with many aquariums. The guide will alsoo keep on telling u about every type of fish. Thn they will ask u to go in ground floor where only feww aquariums r placed. So remember to spend more time on top floor and take as much as pix u want. A good place to change your mood. And a opportunity to see water animal...

Though it might look too small a place and not justifiable for the entry fee but would attract to people who like to see fishes. Will take around 30 - 45 minutes to cover it, maximum... Has two levels, a number of fishes are on display. Good thing is that there will be a guide to accompany a group who will explain the different species and can answer some of your questions. Very nice place to visit. Some part is under construction (Research) that is not yet open. There very different/weird type of fishes, specially alligator fish. Piranhas are also there, a small crab, prons, paper fish, small flat head sharks. Overall it is very nice place. It is having Sagar Ratna hotel branch inside and sitting arrangement is very Classic.
