Kamakhya Mandir is situated in Village Kusauli Gram Sabha near Army Cantt Pithoragarh. Is is visible from so far what so ever It can be seen also from Chandak Meghna Restaurant very clearly. You can reach here by walking, bike, car taxi. It has very steep slope for car thus it is recommended that visit by Bike otherwise walk. Walking distance from Brigade Canteen (Pithoragarh - Jhulaghat road) approx 30 35 min so far. I made both experience and each every has different pleasure. It's elevation near about 1620 metre form mean sea level, I visited here third time every time had a great and different experience. Since it is highly approachable view point so that you can see a part of Pithoragarh. The Back side of Mandir has some beautiful hills and views it can be approachable very easily and it is recommended to enjoy here and spend some time. Peace, blessed and blissful. The kamakhya devi temple is situated at the top of the mountain near maharaja park and KV school Pithoragarh. Beautiful decoration and plantation is done in the surroundings. This temple is one of the most beautiful and big temple of the city pithoragarh. Anyone will be overwhelmed with joy and blessings when they come to this temple. Road is present till the gate of the temple or you can just walk a long path and may reach here. At 12 noon a grand aarti is done and that moment is really very beautiful and fantasizing. I have been here twice or thrice and everytime I come to this place I feel very happy and blessed. If you visit pithoragarh kindly visit kamakhya devi temple and afore the beauty and charm of this beautiful temple.тЭд

Peaceful religious sukoon On top of hill temple is built by kumaon regiment Inside army area we went to hill then took steps n reached temple. The temple is devoted to Goddess Kamakhya. very well maintained A big bell is there (around 51kg) lord Hanuman lord ram vishnu mata bhagwati and batuk bhairav statue is there. We reached on navrati when hawan is about to start so we attend that also. feel so blessed n energetic. Then after aarti we had prasaad (poori dal sabzi chutney halwa) click pictures. From top you can see naini saini airport runway and pithoragarh lake. We loved the place.. different energy and calmness is here.. visit once
