Very clean trail with beautiful views! Plus Narnia vibes on the top :) The trail length can be between 1.5 to 3kms, depending on where you want to start. The path is semi-paved, often rocky and washed away by water stream in rainy season. The trail height can be between 900ft to 1400ft. You may find good parking spot if not too crowded. I’ve attached a snapshot of the trail route captured by my watch, we found that there are no sign boards for the trail route. It took us 3hours roundtrip, was easy-medium effort.

Do carry - water, shades, sunscreen, some snacks, wear good shoes, and a jacket. Expect on the way - Sun, rocks, goats, cows and clouds! :))) Do NOT - throw trash on the trail (Please)

The Naag temple on the top has heavenly views, plus on the side there are some houses. It can be cold on the peak depending on...

A place to spend time with yourself, for doing yoga and meditation, simply beautiful surroundings, groups of antic temples, greenery and breathtaking view. Bhimtal and Naukuchiyatal lake can be seen very clearly from here, you can also do camping and witness the Indescribable sunrise and sunset. The trek was also good,it took us around 2 hours to climb, the people around were also very supportive, the only thing that disappointed me was the filth inside the small temples, rotten flowers and lots of dust, while it was clean outside( temple campus). Overall it was a nice and new experience of trekking for me, but as they say "Nothing ever becomes real till it is experienced" I would recommend you giving it a try and experience it at least once...

Dedicated to Naag Devta, the temple is a must visit for the amazing views it offers! Located a top a hill,  Karkotak Temple is a 3 km interesting trek from Bhimtal and you will be accompanied by amazing scenic views all through your journey and the area around the temple is also a preferred site for camping. It takes around 2 hours of trekking with friends or family.

Imp: + must carry water with you because there is no shop on the way. Be prepared during summer days. The views are magnificent from here. Naukuchiatal & Bhimtal is clearly visible from here. Must carry a good camera with you to capture the views. Sunrise & sunset are...

One of the Highest places in Bhimtal to get a bird's eye view .. it is a village accessible by trekking and also a road connects to the place with half walking path . You get to watch the lakes of bhimtal and naukuchiatal from the place and the surrounding areas. Mandir is accessible to all at any time . People also camp alongside the hill.
