I have been there on 28th Of December 2023, the trek was harsh but filled with Natural beauty. Since I went during winters Black ice and Snow was visible during the Trek specially after the Base Camp. Post Khaliya Top we got some relief for about 1 km but the last 700-800 metres to reach the Zero Point was very risky and frightening. Our feet were slipping and I somehow controlled myself and stopped from slipping into steep trek and ultimately to may be valley. However I somehow managed to reached the top and the 360° view from the Zero point was worth the risk.There should be proper arrangements from government/caretakers authorities for safety and medical support. While returning back Black ice played the role and several people going downstairs fell luckily I had a local Guide with me and he routed us to a different path. So there should be proper arrangements like stair railings and alternate path working.
