This picturesque waterfall is located along the Uttarkashi-Harshil road. You can feel its refreshing mist even from the roadside. It's an ideal spot to pause, capture stunning photographs, and enjoy a warm cup of tea at the nearby riverside café ☕. The tranquil atmosphere makes it perfect for meditation, offering a much-needed escape for mental peace 🧘‍♂️.

While I found the bustling Uttarkashi city less appealing due to overcrowding and environmental concerns, the journey toward Harshil unveils breathtaking vistas 🌄. Along the way, you'll encounter serene valleys and mesmerizing natural beauty—a true treat for any...

KHEDI Waterfall situated on Uttarkashi to Gangotri road 15 km from Uttarkashi. This fall is not natural one rather it's outlet of overflow discharge of Maneri Bhali hydroelectric project on Bhagirathi river. Force and quantity of discharge water is so powerful that flowing droplets of water floated up to road apposite to fall like a shower and someone can get completely wet. When Sun rays fall on these floating droplets the rainbow continues to form and disappears. There is a Veiw point to watch & enjoy the fall also a tea - Maggi shop. Overall a must...

If the sun is right behind you, like, say, around 1-2 pm, you could even see a beautiful rainbow right over the road to Gangotri like in the picture.

That's what the entrance to Goddess Ganga's birthplace ought to look...
