It is a small temple tucked away into a far and hilly corner of the sprawling Dehradun city. But it is quite significant given its age and the fact that this is one of the Siddh temples that marks the edges of the Doon city (in addition to Lakshman Siddh on Haridwar route and others).
The access road passes through dense jungles and villages which still retain the old feel of the lush Doon valley. It then takes you on a narrow broken down route that is steep, meandering and at times hard to drive on if you have a low-clearance sedan or if you are unused to driving on rough terrain. Cars can definitely be taken, but some of the turns close to the temple are very broken and steep, so come mentally prepared. Two wheelers are not an issue.

Read moreI visited Mandu Sidh Temple during the weekend. It is one of the less crowded Sidhs among all four, and it's located very far from the city in a secluded area.
The road becomes very congested about 2 km before reaching the temple.
When I visited, all the shops were closed, and it seemed like there were no shops to get Prasad (devotional offering).
Surprisingly, there were no monkeys around the temple.
The Mandir is immaculately clean in every aspect.
It is surrounded by a sal forest and lacks a dedicated parking area, but since it's not very crowded, you can park your vehicle anywhere along the road.
