SARITAL At a distance of 8 km from Nainital, Sariyatal is a small but beautiful lake located on Kaladungi Road in Nainital. Sariyatal is among the numerous lakes of Kumaon and is fed streams from the surrounded lush green mountains. This lake is also referred as Sarita Tal. Apart from the beautiful lake, Sariyatal is also famous for Himalayan Botanical Garden which is run by Forest Department. A few kms on other side of naini lake is Sariyatal. Nice place on d way to nainital if one is coming from kaladhungi road. Nothing much to explore here few stalls and even lale surrounding walkway was full of swampy mud. 1hr is more than sufficient here to roam around and click few phots.
