Old, small and charming temple complex, tucked away in the wilderness, seemingly off the hectic tourist zones around Corbett.

Be ready for a rugged drive through dirt tracks and dense forests, which is an experience in itself. An offroader - your own or a hired gypsy - is preferable, but I spotted some families brave the track in their i10s too!

Once there, you'll be mesmerized by multiple temples housing moortis that are both recent and ancient. As one would expect, Sita is central here, but don't miss the old rock carved shivlings, nandi, hanuman and other statues.

You can also enjoy the tranquility of cool fresh water flowing through the complex on a hot summer day. There is also a small pond full of tiny fishes.

The only sad part was the plastic, empty juice bottles and other trash that we saw lying around the area. This despite visitors being provided garbage bags at the ticketing counter while entering the forest area. Otherwise too, some proper attention and upkeep might help from the concerned...
