The Jivdani Temple Mahadwar is a remarkable architectural and spiritual gateway that beautifully complements the divine experience of visiting the Jivdani Temple in Virar, Maharashtra. This majestic entrance, recently developed, is not only a structural marvel but also enhances the spiritual ambiance of the pilgrimage.

Standing tall and intricately carved, the Mahadwar (main entrance) reflects traditional Indian temple architecture with modern precision. Its grand design, adorned with detailed sculptures and divine motifs, instantly captures the attention of devotees and tourists alike. The structure serves as a symbolic transition from the worldly to the spiritual realm, setting the tone for the sacred climb up to the temple, which honors Goddess Jivdani, an incarnation of Durga.

The Mahadwar also features excellent facilities for visitors, including clean surroundings, informative signage, and lighting that adds to its grandeur during the evening hours. It acts as a welcoming hub where pilgrims can gather, take photos, and begin their journey with reverence.

Overall, the Jivdani Temple Mahadwar is more than just an entry point—it’s a cultural and spiritual landmark that enhances the entire pilgrimage experience. Whether you are a devotee or a lover of temple architecture, this grand entrance is sure to leave a...

Jeevdani temple located in virar is Jeevdani Devi temple. from virar station west you can get sharing auto. i is 15-20 mins from station. they drop you at the base. as the temple is on the top of hill you can reach either by 1000-1200 stairs which is free of cost or else ropeway which costs 250 return fare. it hardly takes 5 mins by ropeway, depends on the line and crowd. there are 2 ropeway in which 50 people can go sitting and few more standing. you need to go to 8th floor for darshan. in morning during week days its generally not that crowded. after darshan you can go to 1 floor above to take blessings of Maa Kali and Bhairavnath Ji . the passway is big here you have a magneficant top view of the city. earlier they allowd animal sacrifice to offer god but this ritual is now stopped. there they have tea and light snack stall as well. management has tried their best to keep the area and premises clean but people have littered a lot. they have parking available here and shoe stand as well free of cost. in the entrance the vendors will try to fool you charging for private direct entry and shoes safety but you can go manually. morning arti at 5am and night at 8pm. its a good...

This temple is for ppl who believe in mataji. It's is super peaceful once u enter the mandir. Note the mandir is at a great height at the top of mountain.

There are 2 options for reaching till top at mandir one through stairs which are about 1400 approx and there is a trail facility where at a time 60 ppl are seated and taken up video is attached. Per person cost is rs 250 including return. So the ppl who can not climb or have children can opt for this. It is safe and gives you a good view. This cable car works on solar system which is the best part and help on saving electricity.

Mandir is open from morning till 2 pm and after 2 pm they close darshan until they clean which takes half an hour depending upon the crowd and all they open it by 2 30 pm on Google it say 3pm bt they do not do that. Monks don't keep waiting they are nice and kind.

Only request is please do not throw flowers from far of they have kept basket to keep flowers 🌼 🌼 or coconut 🥥 uncessary don't keep throwing.

Also do not keep rushing there is ample amount of space and they give you proper time to do the darshan.

It's a great divine...
