Burmaik — Attraction in West Bengal

Burmaik is a very nice small village under kalingpong district of West Bengal. It is approximately 20 k.m away from Kalingpong. Near about 1 hour time is taken to reach this village from Kalingpong.Road conditions are quite well. Very few homestays are there. Natural beauty seen from this village is excellent. Mt. Kanchenjunga is completely visible from this village. Scenic beauty is excellent. Behavior of the homestay owners are very good. Another renowned village Ichhe Gaon is only 1 K.M away from Burmaik. It is calm, cool, and peaceful place away from the popular destinations of Kalimpong. View is just awesome from here - nature is at its one of the most beautiful attire here. Cute and furry dogs will accompany you for no reason during walk. Lots of colorful flowers are here to soothe the eyes. Be it a sunny day, or rainy one or a foggy one - the walk is nonetheless enjoyable. From here ramdhura, daragaon, icche gaon, munsong all are just nearby. On clear days, Kanchanjungha is visible from all these places.
