Dhoni Kamarni Temple, Kamarpukur — Attraction in West Bengal

This place is not well maintained. Could not be undertaken by Ramakrishna mission authority. Dhani Kamarini was a so called untouchable in the soceity that dates back to SriRamakrishna's childhood. Being a Brahmin and upper cast, SriRamakrishna was forbideen to keep in touch with so called lower caste people. But he broke all these social barrier at the tender age of 12 when he was entitled to the sacred thead (পৈতা) and receive the first viksha from Dhani Kamarini. This entitled Dhani as SriRamakrishna's VikshaMaata.
