ISKCON Rajapur, near Mayapur, is a peaceful and spiritually uplifting place dedicated to Lord Jagannath, Baladev, and Subhadra. The temple is beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush greenery and a calm village atmosphere. Devotees describe it as less crowded than the main ISKCON Mayapur complex, making it perfect for meditation and quiet prayer. The priests and volunteers are kind and helpful, always guiding visitors about the temple’s history and rituals. Cleanliness, calmness, and devotional ambiance make it a must-visit for those seeking a true spiritual experience. Nearby prasadam and simple accommodations are available, offering a traditional touch of Vaishnava hospitality. One small improvement could be ensuring prasadam is served three times a day for all present devotees, which would enhance the overall experience and comfort of visitors.

Sri Jagannath is worshiped at the ISKCON's Rajapur temple in West Bengal, India. The deities of Lord Jagannatha, Baladeva, and Subhadra are said to have manifested there 500 years ago. The temple was founded by a devotee named Jagadisa Ganguli, who was instructed by Lord Jagannath in a dream to carve deities from a log of wood. After the death of Jagadisa Ganguli, the worship of the deities was neglected and the temple fell into ruin. In the 1950s, a young man named Jaimini Ghosh was inspired by Lord Jagannath to clear away the jungle and rebuild the temple. The deities were miraculously found intact under a termite hill. The ISKCON Rajapur temple is now a thriving center of worship for devotees of Lord Jagannath.
