Jubilee Park — Attraction in West Bengal

NEVER EVER BOOK CATERING ( SUBHO ) FROM LOCAL OR PARK MANAGER . HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE . WE BOOKED SPOT + CATERING FROM PARK MANAGER. HE ALLOTTED SUBHO CATERING FOR US . THIS CATERER DID FRAUD WITH US . WE WAITED 12 NOON AND HE KEPT ON ASSURING THAT COOKING TEAM , UTENSILS WILL REACH SHORTLY WHICH NEVER CAME. AROUND 12 NOON MR SUBHO CAME WITH FEW EXTREMELY COLD FOODS LIKE FEW LUCHI , SOME NORMAL KOCHURI , FEW KORAISUTI KOCHURI ALONG WITH COLD GHUGHNI CHANA MIXED WITH SOME MUTTON JHOL and served as Veg ..... Sweets came around 12:30 . There was no one to serve. We did self service. Breakfast food quality was extremely poor . Around 1:30 he served COLD TEA which should be served around 10am ... We kept on complaining about it to the PARK MANAGER. He kept on assuring everything will be good. Drinking water also not served . 1:30pm Subho served extremely cold poor quality chicken pakoda . We ordered 15days back for special fish fries and special chicken pakora which never arrived till 5pm . Next we waited for lunch . And kept on calling him as well as the park manager. But around 3:30pm MR SUBHO PROVIDE some very cold daal (quantity was suitable for half of our ordered quantity) , few pieces of fish ( again 60% of ordered qty ) . Again he flew away by telling that I am going to bring rice . After 15-20 minutes , he came back with cold rice ( not derahdun rice or basmoti rice as per order but MOTA SEDDO CHAL VAAT ) ( Qty also was 40% of ordered qty ) . Again he flew away to bring mutton and came back with cold mutton ( qty was 20% of ordered qty and most of them was only bone or fat / chorbi not meat ) , veg curry, salad , alu vaja , chatni , papad , sweets never came . Around 4pm Mr subho again flew away to bring rice , fish , mutton and never came back. we all visited the park manager and conveyed our problems peacefully . There we found that other picnic parties are protesting for same or even more worst problems done by SUBHO CATERING. Park manager refunded all parties the 100% amount . But all parties who booked Subho catering , returned home without food . Otherwise Good place for picnic and outing. But on winter holidays, it is horrible like Md Ali Park on Durga Ashtami night. Too much crowded. Left bank of lake became open hard drink area and chaos . But plots of right bank is relatively better in terms of environment. On weekdays throughout the year, couples kept visiting the park where open sex is allowed. On the spot booking day in November, we found some of the couples are even in undressed condition inside huts like Q , S , T ,P , WHITE HOUSE 1 .....etc . THOUSANDS OF BEER AND DRINKS BOTTLES, CONDOM , TABLETS.... etc are seen inside jungle area and on the...

Trust me...this is not a proper place for a picnic...well it might be for couples...bt I haven't gone there as a couple(and I don't intend to) so I won't comment on that...but please don't bring Ure family here..first of all this park hasn't got enough security personnel..I visited this park when I was a kid..nd that was the very day somebody was murdered in the park...yeah you read it right...murdered...that memory scarred me for life...the truth about this place is..it ain't suitable for picnics with Ure family...before this park was built here it used to be a zone for fishery...bt after the park was built..there wasn't much water for boat riding...so what they did was..they connected the sewage system with the parks water supply for the pond...and that was that...so much of the water of the pond that u see is actually coming from sewage...u can actually spot snakes drifting through this water...nd I don't think that the boats are well maintained as u can see from their condition..nd I can't just emphasize the dire need of more security personnel ...the park is well maintained(seriously..what else would they do with so much revenue )..but the boating rides need more maintainance..coz with the condition it's in now..it's just a catastrophe...

Worst place, I have ever gone.  & didn't ever think, those couples there would be so horrible & agressive to be in love. Uff, in sex actualy !! Shameless people & such a nasty area. Nothing to visit, even not a proper garden, not a perfect place to capture pics. This place doesn't even deserve "one star". Zero rating will be perfect. & my suggestion, to all true lovers, plz don't spoil ur day, going there. So many other parks are in kalyani & Kachrapara, which are so good in compare to this irritating one. & the most shocking thing is that, ticket costs Rs.100 per person. such a cheat !! Just, hate the place....
