The river coming from the left is Rangeet meeting Teesta which is coming straight down. On the left are the hills of Sikkim and on the right are the hills of Kalimpong. The large white sandy delta formation at the confluence is popular for rafting in the Teesta River. This confluence is also known as Triveni and there is a roadway that connects up to the point of the confluence.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lovers Meet View Point on the banks of the Teesta River, and it was a truly serene and memorable experience. Situated amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Teesta Valley, this view point offers a tranquil escape from the chaos of everyday life. The Teesta River itself is a sight to behold. Its crystal-clear waters flow gracefully through the valley, reflecting the surrounding mountains and creating a mesmerizing scene. Standing at Lovers Meet View Point, I felt a sense of awe as I watched the river meandering through the landscape, like a lifeline breathing life into the valley. The view from the viewpoint was simply breathtaking. The panoramic vista of the Teesta River snaking through the lush greenery of the valley, with the majestic Himalayan peaks as a backdrop, was a sight that will remain etched in my memory forever. The play of light and shadow on the water and the ever-changing colors of the sky created a magical ambiance. The serenity of Lovers Meet View Point was enhanced by the peaceful atmosphere surrounding it. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I felt a profound sense of tranquility. It's a place where one can truly connect with nature, take a deep breath, and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. The facilities at Lovers Meet View Point were well-maintained and convenient. The pathways were clean and well-marked, making it easy to explore the area. There were also seating areas where I could relax and soak in the panoramic views at my own pace. The staff members were friendly and helpful, providing information about the viewpoint and the surrounding area. Their enthusiasm for the natural wonders of the Teesta River and the Himalayas was contagious, adding to the overall experience. While Lovers Meet View Point is undoubtedly a beautiful location, I felt that it could benefit from additional amenities. Adding more seating areas or picnic spots would provide visitors with more options to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
