Nice place to visit during sunset times with your loved ones, Couple friendly.

Boats available to visit the ganges for tourists, do bargain before booking one.

Mandir opens most of the time & often visited by many devotees.

Good place for Pre-Wedding / Photoshoot purposes & it doesn't need permission to shoot in this area.

Multiple Tea Shops & General convenience shops are in place.

However, No Liquor shops are there in nearby.

Beware of parking your vehicle here & there since random people charges "Parking Fee" at various open spaces.

Moreover, the view & landscape is recently half destroyed after construction of a large Pump House near the Temple.

There's a small park with sitting arrangements near the ghat, which doesn't need any tickets.

No adequate Toilets/Changing Room are in place, however, one centrally funded Toilet has been constructed recently under 'Namami Gange' scheme near the Park but it remains closed most of the times due to unknown reason.

Police often visits this place and roads near this place and often stops bikes(with couples) for "verification purposes"[ You know what I mean ;) ] after the dark.

Please use Dust Bin while...

A well maintained Hinu Kali Temple at the bank of river Ganga. Aside, a water purifier sub-station under India Govt. "Ganga Action Plan" programme from which drinking water supply to Ranaghat Municipal area. Another same project under process for supply of drinking water to Bongaon Municipal area. This place nearest from Pyradanga railway station. This place also easily access from Ranaghat and Chakdah as well. There is also have a bathing ghat for Bath in holy Ganga River along with well mentioned changing room for women who want to bath along with good toilet for both men and women. There is few shops for snacks, cold drinks and tea though no hotel available for...

I’ve visited Mukundonagar Ghat around 3–4 times, and I’ve seen it change. It used to be a peaceful riverside spot, perfect for some quiet time, watching the gentle flow of water and soaking in calmness. It felt like one of those places where you could hear your own thoughts. But lately, it’s become quite crowded—couples sitting around, families with kids running and playing, and a lot more activity overall. The peaceful vibe has faded a bit, but honestly, something about the place still draws me in. Maybe it’s the sound of the river, or maybe it’s just the memories I’ve made there. Either way, it’s still...

A place where nature and divinity lie together. The temple has added to the beauty of this place. Moving boats, the sweet noise from the temple and faint sounds of water will take you closer to nature. You can spend time just sitting by the river or on a boat. Also food lovers are not gonna be disappointed here. From chai to chaat, you'll get various types of snacks. Try to leave the place before evening, as the roadway to Mukundanagar ghat is not safe after sun. Though in summer thousands of fireflies will wait by the roads to welcome you!

Serene, Mystic River Ghat by the Ganga River in Chakdah, aligned to Ranaghat Municipality. 3kms straight path from Payradanga Railway Station. This ghat consists of a stepped seating area touching the river, and a temple complex containing Lord Shiva & Goddess Kali temples, and a very beautiful garden with excellent topiary works and sculptures. A nice place to enjoy the evening by looking at the sun setting into the River. Also the ghat is used by the public for taking holy dips and bathing.
