NACHAN THEME PARK — Attraction in West Bengal

It's a small park with landscaping besides Nachan Dam. Two gardens are there. You can walk besides the dam, it's a 200 metre stretch. Seating arrangement is in the form of two hexagon shaped, open sided with pillars and roof is there. Entry fee is Rs. 10/- per person. It's not very well maintained. Washrooms are not clean. There is a forest guesthouse within the premises but its not for public use.

Best time to visit is December to January. Parking is available. Boating is pretty enjoyable in Nachan Dam. People generally come here in winter with families or group of friends for picnic. The park has a good nursery of flowers, but thats almost it. In the pictures it might seems to be a big place. But in reality it's a really small park with hardly anything to do unless you are coming in a group for a picnic. Please note it is not at all a theme park.
