While sharing my experience, I would like to give a detailed information to reach there and a detailed description of this park.

It's easy to reach at New Digha Park by train. • First, get down at "Chandannagar Station" and go towards "Boubazar" which is close to platform no.3. • Then you hire a Toto or Auto whatever you prefer & tell the driver your destination. The driver will take to that park. There are also other parks near this, such as Disney land Park, Chuti Park, Wonderland Park etc.

In my opinion, New Digha Park is not that much fascinating. There is a garden of marigold, children park with slides, swings and other rides for our littles although there you will find the crowd of elders enjoying kids' rides! Other rides such as trains for children & toy train, time machine are also present but the last two are not in working condition.

There is a very big picnic spot which you can book prior as well as there are boats for riding, restaurants, toilet facilities for both men & women, Car & other vehicles parking place. There you can find some police staffs roaming here and there.

But I find that park without maintenance because ▪︎ sitting cement areas are broken and dirty, ▪︎ ladies toilet without mug and bucket, ▪︎ people taking liquor inside this area instead of the prohibition on bringing alcoholic drinks.

And entry fee is 25/- per person which is according to me a bit higher. At last I would like to say that the authority of this park should try to fill up the gaps by focusing on It's maintenance, making it more fascinating for children and banning...

While the idea of escaping into nature for a day may have been delightful, sadly, my visit to New Digha Park didn't quite live up to its promise. I understand parks can't always be pristine, but I found my experience less than restful, and I hope my feedback might help improve things for future visitors.

Firstly, the long stretches of road within the park felt highly monotonous, and unfortunately, the scenery along the way didn't offer much variety to break up the journey. This made getting around rather tiresome, especially when combined with the somewhat unkempt grounds. While I appreciate the presence of grassy areas, I found them a little rough underfoot, with discarded litter occasionally making an unwelcome appearance.

The persistent loud music throughout the park added to the sense of overwhelm. While I understand a certain level of ambience can be enjoyable, the constant volume made it difficult to truly relax and immerse oneself in the natural surroundings.

Perhaps the most concerning aspect was the state of the playground equipment. Rusted, sharp edges on the swings posed a real safety hazard, and I can't help but think with a little maintenance, such a potential for injury could be easily avoided.

Overall, while I respect the effort put into maintenance, with some attention to detail, particularly in regard to cleanliness, landscaping, and playground safety, it could blossom into a truly delightful space for everyone to enjoy.
